The Metropolis residential project by Mint Investments brings a total of 292 premium apartments to the market, of which more than 65% have already been sold. On top of interesting architecture, the lucrative location of the new downtown offers unique intimate living with front gardens and a park almost in the centre of the capital. The excellence of Metropolis is also underlined by the award it received in the prestigious CIJ Awards as the Best Residential Project under Construction.
“When we at Mint Investments came up with the idea to bring to Bratislava a residential project that will offer truly superior, intimate living in one of the city’s most lucrative districts, we knew that we wanted to work with the best of the best in building it. This meant to work with the architect Juraj Sonlajtner, the general contractor Takenaka, the construction supervisor Grinity, the real estate agency Herrys, and the financing bank Tatra banka, including all other partners and suppliers, thanks to whom we are able to fulfil our promise of quality and premium housing,” said Sebastien Dejanovski from Mint Investments.
The pair of towers with 16 and 18 above-ground residential floors and 2 underground floors will stand out thanks to their M-shape at nearly double the height of the surrounding towers.
“Bratislava’s downtown is unique, and we envisioned it in the way that each downtown building should be original in its style, yet at the same time its architecture shouldn’t scream out too much. Metropolis may be smaller in height compared to other landmarks, but the building is designed to be prominent, symmetrical, and distinctive,” explained the architect, Juraj Sonlajtner of Prague-based studio City Work Architects, who is behind the Metropolis design.
With the completion of the core monolith, work on the Metropolis is now moving on to the finalisation of the facade and interiors. The facade will be followed by park landscaping of the common semi-private park and the front gardens adjacent to the residential units on the ground floor. Completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
Metropolis will be unique not just in its shape, but especially in the high standard of materials used in the building or innovative technological solutions solving the issues of ventilation, cooling, and efficient healthy heating for its future residents.
“Today, it is no longer true that clients make decisions based mainly on location, layout or standard of facilities; we notice how sensitively they consider whether the project is sustainable and whether it offers effective solutions for energy savings without the need for further investment,” commented on the market situation Filip Žoldák from HERRYS the exclusive real estate agency for Metropolis.
